Recently, I was touring a club in the Washington D.C. area and enjoyed a great cup of coffee with the owner and one of her managers while we discussed how they currently promote safety in their club. As we toured the facility, I was impressed with the quality, of the signs that were placed throughout the club. I was reminded how something as simple as a sign can impact the overall safety of a club. Each one of the signs was colorfully laminated and I couldn’t help but stop and read them as I walked through the various workout areas and locker room. The signs were a direct reflection of the club owner’s attention to detail and they mirrored the overall professional environment of the club.
